Garage Door Repair in Spring Hill, KS
Spring Hill, KS
First, the correction Spring Hill people insist on, rightly: the town was named in 1856 by James B. Hovey for Spring Hill near Mobile, Alabama. There is no spring in the name. What the town has instead is growth: from about 8,000 people in 2020 toward 10,000 and climbing, straddling the Johnson and Miami county line on the US-169 corridor, one of the fastest-growing edges of the county. Old town holds the early homes; the subdivisions spreading south and east hold the county's newest doors.
New doors here are tall doors. Spring Hill's new builds hang nine and ten-foot doors as a matter of course, sized for trucks and SUVs, and a tall door is not just a wide door standing up: the height changes the drums, the cable lengths, and the spring math, and a crew pricing from the width alone will size the lift wrong. When you call about a Spring Hill door, the height is worth saying out loud: "nine-foot door" tells us more in three words than a paragraph about the neighborhood. Meanwhile old town's doors run the other way, modest and standard and aging on the normal schedule, springs and rollers first.

Our southern run pairs Spring Hill with Gardner and Stilwell, most days.
