Garage Door Repair Service Areas

One county, driven end to end, most days

Metcalf Garage Door works out of south Overland Park, in the old Stanley neighborhood near 151st and Metcalf, and the map is Johnson County plus the Kansas River towns at the county's north end. That is a deliberate smallness: two trucks can honestly cover this ground in a day, from Mission Hills down Metcalf to Stilwell, from De Soto across to Mission, and the crew learns the housing stock town by town instead of guessing at it metro-wide.

Johnson County splits into chapters. Along the northeast corner sit the small, older cities: Fairway, Mission Hills, Roeland Park, Westwood, Prairie Village, Mission, and Merriam, much of it built between the wars and the seventies, with single-car and detached garages. Down the Metcalf corridor and across the south, Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, and Shawnee carry the growth decades: wider doors, taller doors, three-car garages, builder hardware aging in clusters. The southern and western edges, Gardner, Spring Hill, Stilwell, De Soto, and Stanley, mix farm-era lots and acreage with brand-new subdivisions. North of the river, Lake Quivira, Bonner Springs, Edwardsville, and Kansas City, Kansas close the map where Metcalf itself runs out at I-635.

A note on two names on the list. Stanley is a neighborhood inside Overland Park now, annexed in 1985, and it gets a page because everyone out there still calls it Stanley. Lake Quivira is a gated city; if you live there, mention the gate when you book, and we will handle the rest from our side.

Each town below has its own page, written for its own doors: what was built there, what breaks there, and what to ask before you approve a repair.

Your town not on the list? If you are inside Johnson County or just across the river, call Call for same-day help and ask. The map has edges, but it has a little give at them, and a neighbor one town over is a neighbor.
